My First Day in Arizona

We slept in. Woke up at 10am. Spent the first two hours unpacking. At 12 plus, we drove Joey’s truck out and went to a mall at Chandler Village. Ate my first meal from Panda Express. We walked around the mall a little. Then darling bought a pair of shoes from Famous Brands(?!). We headed back and took a nap til 5pm.

Waited for the college kids to get back from school and we went for dinner with Rachel, Burley and Brie in Burley’s car. Had dinner at Fat Burger before heading off to Walmart :)

It was a blessing to be in the midst of Christians who are real and face the normal struggles. They don’t hide. They behave like normal Christians who love the Lord. It’s just nice being among them. Anyway, half the time I don’t really understand what they are saying basically because of their strong American accent and their way of talking. Sometimes, I don’t even know if they are serious or kidding. A lot to learn I guess..

Oh well, so that’s my first day in Chandler, Arizona. Thank God for the day. For the nice things. Now, it’s time to get my life straighten out.. a time to draw close to the Lord.
